SimpleQuest is an intentionally straightforward RPG in the vein of early 1990s-era Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy. If you have played any of those games, then it will feel familiar.

Saddled with the unfortunate name of “Hero,” a young man arrives in the small village of Carp’s Bend, searching for meaning. He probably won’t find it there, but they’ll give him something to do for a little while. There might even be a dragon involved.

The game is built as an homage to a simpler time, but with some nods to modern sensibilities and schedules. Got an itch for a 1990s RPG? SimpleQuest will scratch it without taking too much of your time – play time should be a few hours at most.
